Jesús M. González Barahona


Jesús M. González Barahona Professor in the University Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, Spain.
Begun to work on Free software communication and promotion in 1991, since then he has done several activities in this field, organization of seminars, courses, and part of work groups on free software.

At the present time he collaborates in several free software projects: Debian, Hispalinux, Eiurolinux, writes in different media about free software. Among the work he does at the university, he teaches one graduate class on free software (at the graduate programs in UPM and URJC).

He does research on free software engineering, coordinates the design of the European master on free software and is a member of the scientific committee of the free software master of the UOC, Universidad Oberta de Cataluña.
